The 19th annual meeting of the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) was held October 3-5 in Washington, DC, with 40 member boards and agencies represented. Delegates elected five positions on the FSMTB Board of Directors and three positions on the 2025 Nominating Committee.<\/p>

The following members were elected by the membership to serve a three-year term on the board of directors:<\/p>
Chimere Figaire Correa<\/strong>, Chair of the Washington Board of Massage Therapy<\/p> Caroline Guerin<\/strong>, Presiding Officer of the Texas Massage Therapy Advisory Board<\/p> Robert Ruark<\/strong>, Executive Director of the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists<\/p> <\/p> The following members were elected by the membership to serve a one-year term on the board of directors:<\/p> Paul Andrews<\/strong>, Chair of the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Massage Therapists<\/p> Nicole Davis<\/strong>, Board Member of the New Jersey Board of Massage Therapy and Bodywork<\/a><\/p> <\/p> The following members were elected by acclamation to serve a one-year term on the 2024 Nominating Committee:<\/p> Foad Araiinejad<\/strong>, Alabama Board of Massage Therapy (former)<\/strong><\/p> Charlene Russell<\/strong>, Mississippi, former FSMTB president<\/p> Jan Shaw<\/strong>, South Carolina Board of Massage Therapy<\/p> <\/p> Officers were elected at the Board of Directors meeting following the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards.
