Delegates elected five positions on the FSMTB Board of Directors and three positions on the 2025 Nominating Committee.<\/p><p><\/p><p>The following members were elected by the membership to serve a three-year term on the board of directors:<\/p><p><strong>Chimere Figaire Correa<\/strong>, Chair of the Washington Board of Massage Therapy<\/p><p><strong>Caroline Guerin<\/strong>, Presiding Officer of the Texas Massage Therapy Advisory Board<\/p><p><strong>Robert Ruark<\/strong>, Executive Director of the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists<\/p><p><\/p><p>The following members were elected by the membership to serve a one-year term on the board of directors:<\/p><p><strong>Paul Andrews<\/strong>, Chair of the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Massage Therapists<\/p><p><strong>Nicole Davis<\/strong>, Board Member of the <a>New Jersey Board of Massage Therapy and Bodywork<\/a><\/p><p><\/p><p>The following members were elected by acclamation to serve a one-year term on the 2024 Nominating Committee:<\/p><p><strong>Foad Araiinejad<\/strong>, Alabama Board of Massage Therapy (former)<strong><\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Charlene Russell<\/strong>, Mississippi, former FSMTB president<\/p><p><strong>Jan Shaw<\/strong>, South Carolina Board of Massage Therapy<\/p><p><\/p><p>Officers were elected at the Board of Directors meeting following the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards. <strong>Caroline Guerin<\/strong>, Texas Massage Therapy Advisory Board, was elected to serve as president; <strong>Robert Ruark<\/strong>, Oregon Board of Massage Therapists, was elected to serve as vice president; and <strong>Elisabeth Barnard<\/strong>, Nevada State Board of Massage Therapy, was elected to serve as treasurer.<\/p><p>Sincere thanks are extended to Foad Araiinejad, Victoria Drago, and Craig Knowles who each completed a three-year term of service on the FSMTB Board of Directors.<\/p><p><\/p><p><strong>FSMTB Board of Directors<\/strong><\/p><p>President \u2013 Caroline Guerin \u2013 Texas Massage Therapy Advisory Board<\/p><p>Vice President \u2013 Robert Ruark \u2013 Oregon Board of Massage Therapists<\/p><p>Treasurer \u2013 Elisabeth Barnard \u2013 Nevada State Board of Massage Therapy<\/p><p>Director \u2013 Paul Andrews \u2013 Massachusetts Board of Registration of Massage Therapists<\/p><p>Director \u2013 Nicole Davis \u2013 New Jersey Board of Massage Therapy and Bodywork<\/p><p>Director \u2013 Chimere Figaire Correa \u2013 Washington Board of Massage Therapy<\/p><p>Director \u2013 Karen Frazier \u2013 Kentucky Board of Licensure for Massage Therapy<\/p><p>Immediate Past President \u2013 Craig Knowles \u2013 Georgia Board of Massage Therapy<\/p><p>Ex Officio \u2013 Dr. Debra Persinger \u2013 FSMTB Executive Director<\/p><p><\/p><p><strong>About FSMTB<\/strong><\/p><p><em>Established in 2005, the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) is an autonomous, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization comprised of state regulatory boards and agencies that regulate the massage therapy profession.
